Sally Sullivan is a self-taught artist. Her search for a new hobby resulted in the relaxing, creative, colorful world of mosaic.  Having experimented with mosaic for about three years, Sally's eternal desire to learn, combined with an increasing passion for the art, attracted her to a mosaic school in Ravenna, Italy.  There she learned about the ancient art of mosaic; the techniques, the materials and style, as they compare to modern mosaic.  Sally's interest remains primarily with modern mosaic although she continues to experiment with materials and technique.

Sally is now a professional artist part-time. She lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband Bob on twenty acres, home to five horses, an Australian Shepard and a slew of barn cats.  The animals and gardens provide constant inspriration.
